Marietta & Garden Botanika Sponsoring the 2008 Eco-Challenge

February 20, 2008 Cortland, NY - Marietta Corporation is pleased to announce that we will be co-sponsoring the Eco-Challenge 2008 to be held April 14-19, 2008 with one of our brand partners, Garden Botanika.

This 6-day event will be filmed and documented covering ecological issues that directly impact our surrounding areas and relative to all existence here on planet earth, covered on national television, and in the media around the world, the Eco-Challenge is one of the biggest events focused on the environment in the world.

The event consists of eight female sports models competing in an adventure race while documenting significant eco-awareness along their 200+ mile journey from Mt. Hood to the pacific shores of Astoria, Oregon.

The key objective of the event is to provide environmental recognition, awareness, solutions, and ultimately education that will be distributed via Blu-ray DVD to classrooms, public access networks, and cable networks.

Marietta participates in IH/M&RS

November 14th, 2007 New York City - A Marietta sales contingent recently returned from the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, in New York, New York.

While Marietta's main goal was to meet with current and future customers, they also showcased two new products to the market place, Aveda Shampure, and the Origins stock amenity line. In addition to displaying their current proprietary and licensed brands, Marietta also showcased their green initiatives and new product innovations, such as trays, packettes and Post-Consumer-Recycled bottles.

Vice President of Sales, Grant Stallknecht, was excited about all of the new faces that Marietta spent time with at the show. "In addition to maintaining all of our long-term relationships, we are pleased to have met so many new future customers. Our new booth design and strengthened sales team really helped attract a new group of customers who are looking for innovative and environmentally-friendly solutions in a competitive market."
